My Response to Responses

hank you for all your responses. This is an exercises that has helped ME for years, and a couple of my sisters were having troubles in their personal lives and I decided to share it with them to help them look at a different way to handle some things. I do not claim to have it "all together'. That is why I do this. Sometimes I see things break in the house, the car needs to go in the shop, my hair hasn't been colored in months, little money in the bank, etc... and that is when I feel like my world is crashing down around me...SO I step back and try to figure out, then I have to take "BABYSTEPS" to get back in "BALANCE"....OK what needs to be done...take the van to the shop, check. Get the hair done, check. and so on...Just saying that if I keep up on things before they get to the point of spiraling out of control it works better for "ME". The only dreams I have is getting from Ohio to CA to see my son in his condo, girlfriend, and job. Visitin...

I did not choose this life, but I did agree to for better or for worse in sickness and in health. Well this may not have been my plan but it was God's plan for me and my IS. Married only 6 yrs, three children under 5 and husband has a catastrophic accident that changed our life as we knew. I since, have had many yrs to get to know me. I have discovered that I do well when everything is in balance. I have literally written down topics and when one item is out of kilter it is time to make changes. I draw a pie shape with equal piece (I learn very visually)I have written my topics down. 9 months of update??

Okay, WOW, it has been a very busy 9 months apparently since I have not written anything. Baby Evan Sawyer was born Aug 27, 2010. Big, healthy very active baby boy!! I have been watching him for my daughter Jackie since he was 4 wks old. He is a very busy boy making for a very busy Mema!! Her husband David got a full time job in March and seems happy. Now my first son Rich & DIL Kara have their second child on the way and due in Nov. Gabe is 4yrs old this week and super excited for the new baby, hoping for a sister he says!! Fourth grandchild...we are truly blessed! Son Dan in CA, is doing great with the new job. He has also got a condo & a girlfriend (Emily) who we will get to meet on our visit to CA in June. They seem to have very much in common such as the Computer gaming industry & outdoor activities, music etc. I am looking into going to a well spouse conference in Oct for a weekend to try to get a handle on how other well spouse handle care giving for a ill- ...
