Have I Ever Told You How Proud I Am Of My Kids?

I have just got to tell you about my three wonderful kids. These kids are the biggest reason to keep my faith, of that I have no doubt. I will just keep it to the recent stuff for now, because they have always been my main reason for why I am here on Earth. Richard is my #1 son, and I mean that in birth order. He is 24, college grad, after recieving a full-ride scholarship. Married his wife Kara two years ago in July. They both work and bought a home one year ago July. Two nights ago they called to let me know that in June of 2007, I will be a Grandmother!! I could not be happier for them. God has truely blessed their marriage. I am very proud! Jackie is #2. Jackie is my only daughter. At 23, is still in college persuing a teaching degree. She has been dating boyfriend David for over three years now. "ME TIME"

Sometimes I think that I must be living under a rock or something. Friday night was the first heard of the concept "ME TIME", when my daughter-in-law of two years sent my son packing to come home here for the weekend. They both swear nothing is wrong, she just needed "ME TIME". In the past I use to hear "I NEED TO GO FIND MYSELF". I never really understood that. Now I am baffled over "ME TIME". Is this something I need?? Hell yes, who doesn't???? How does one get "ME TIME"? I have yet to figure that out. Being married 26 years now, three very active kids, dogs cats and other various animals, I had never really thought about "ME TIME". I mean I take time to read a book, take a walk, a bath on occasion. But I think the "ME TIME" is something I really want to investigate. I wonder if that give you more time to yourself? I am going to check this out and get back to you.
